Rozzy Sokota

Rozzy Sokota Born Rosemarie Baryoh is a young Sierra Leonean singer and songwriter. Rozzy was born to a family of both Sierra Leonean parents. She grew up mainly in the Freetown municipality and had a brief spell in Banjul, Gambia.<br><br>During her school days at Freetown Secondary School for Girls (FSSG) and Beacon High School, she played active roles in the school band as a lead vocalist and a steel drummer.<br><br>At the same time, she was also active in many local churches in Freetown and Banjul as a lead chorister. Therefore, it is safe to say that her music career had its foundation in the church.<br><br>Career<br>Her first album, titled “Victory is Mine”, was a 13-track all gospel songs and up till date is still a blessing in the gospel chart.<br>
